The Corkscrew Willow, also known as Curly Willow, is a small to medium sized upright, fast growing tree. Growing to a height of 30 feet and a width of 15 feet. Its slender dark green leaves are dark green above with white undresides, turning golden yellow in fall. Gray-brown bark. Fuzzy pale yellow-green flowers appear in early spring. Its open form and curly, tristed branches give this tree a very interesting, unique appearance. Once the leaves drop in fall, the twisted twigs become even more apparent, which lends the tree to a special winter interest. Will grow in clay, loamy, sandy, moist soil. Deer resistant.
