Seed source Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico.This seed source has proven to be highly resistant to Gypsy Moth. Grows 40 to 80 feet in height. Spread of 15 to 25 feet. Short, soft blue-green needles. Grows best in moist, well drained soil. Will not do well in heavy, wet, clay soil. Largest timber producing tree in North America. A popular Christmas tree because of its color, symmetrical form and needle retention.
