Blue Girl Holly reaches a mature height of 8 to 10 feet with a spread of 5 to 8 feet. This beautiful evergreen shrub is noted for its bright red fruit and dark green with blue overcast leaves. It has an upright, somewhat pyramidal growth habit. Creamy white flowers are followed by bright red berries, fall into winter. Will pollinate with Blue Boy Holly. Plant male together or within 20 feet of Blue Girl Holly. Prefers moist, but well drained, acidic soil. One of the best cold hardy female hollies.
