Soil Moist Transplant is formulated from several species of beneficial mycorrhizal fungi and bacteria plus water storing polymer crystals. Most planting sites lack the beneficial requirements that new trees, plants and shrubs require, due to tillage, home construction, mining and the removal of top soils. These activities reduce the mycorrhizal forming potential of soil that occur naturally in undisturbed areas.
Product benefits include increased nutrient and water uptake, reducing plant waterings. Reduction of transplanting stress and plant loss. Increases plant establishment. Effective for all types of trees and plants especially potted stock with the exception of laurels, rhododendrons and azaleas.
The granules must be placed in contact with the root ball for the fungi to colonize. After planting, deep soak the plant with water.
APPLICATION RATE
4 inch container 1 teaspoon, 6 inch container 3 teaspoons, 8 inch container 4 teaspoons, 1 gallon 2 t ablespoons, 3 gallon 4 tablespoons, 5 gallon 6 tablespoons.
Measuring tip: Each 3 ounce pack treats a 1 inch trunk diameter tree
