A large, round-headed tree growing 40 to 60 feet. Leaves are similar to chestnut leaves, 4 to 8 inches long, with pointed teeth. Gobbler acorns are smaller than regular Sawtooth strains, but produce twice as many nuts. Acorns are an excellent food for wildlife. Winter hardy from northern Florida to -10°F. Space 20 feet apart for best acorn production. Keep site clear of competing vegetation. Disease and insect resistant. No shipments to CA,FL,OR.
