Developed by the Weyerhaeuser Company for use in reforestation. This product has been proven in many published trials to be the most effective deer and rabbit repellent available. Repels by odor, but not offensive to humans. One application lasts about two months and will not wash off (may need to be reapplied more often during periods of rapid growth). Not approved for use on food crops. EPA registered. Active ingredient: putrescent whole egg solids.
When application is needed during light rain or in heavy dew, the answer is DEER-AWAY Powder. Sprinkle on DEER-AWAY Powder at the time fruit and evegreen trees are planted or before the onset of browsing. Just wet down the branches with a hose or garden sprayer or dust lightly with the powder. No special equipment is needed. The powder contains a hygroscopic agent that absorbs water and sticks tightly to vegetation after wetting.
